Entrepreneur Tells Paul Ryan He Is A Cancer Survivor Thanks To ‘Obamacare’ Even Though He Was Initially Against It [VIDEO]
An entrepreneur who originally opposed 'Obamacare' told House Speaker Paul Ryan he wanted to thank the President from the bottom of his heart.
Jeff Jeans said he was a former life-long Republican who was completely against the Affordable Care Act—until he was diagnosed with cancer at age 49 and only given six weeks to live.
You see, Jeans was successful—but as a business owner, he didn't get health insurance through work like many people with benefits do. And since his cancer would undoubtedly fall under the "pre-existing condition" category.
I want to thank President Obama from the bottom of my heart because I’d be dead if it weren’t for him
Paul Ryan told Jeans that Republicans planned to replace Obamacare with "something better."
There are many more folks out there who say that the ACA saved their lives, so as The House of Representatives is currently debating this very issue at the time of this post, let's hope they can come up with something that works for everyone.
