Drum Battle Between III Marine Expeditionary Force Band & Republic Of Korea Army Band [VIDEO]

Moments like this only exist in the Olympics. When it's country on country. This is a very rare site that will never happen again.

According to YouTube user bhijar07 who downloaded it last week, it was a friendly drum line competition between the III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF) band and the Republic of Korea (ROK) Army band.

We all know that the U.S. Marines will settle for nothing less than a win. Friendly or not!

Have you seen the movie 'Drumline'? It looks like they took a scene straight out of that film. The video starts off with the Republic of Korea band doing a pretty good job, but they are no match for the Marine Force Band!

In the end, the winner is determined by crowd noise. The Marine shouts out it's a tie, but we all know better. : )

All in all, it's really cool that we can get along so well with other countries and have "friendly" competitions.
