Oh joy! Oh fun! Welcome, lovers of the McRib sandwich from McDonald's, into this year's McRib season.

I know McRib season isn't a real thing, but to all of us who love the McRib sandwich, this is a pretty good time of year.

The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas each year is when the sandwich returns to the menu. It features rib meat with a tangy, sweet barbecue sauce along with dill pickle slices and onion.

I always pair my McRib with a Dr. Pepper and a large order of french fries.

The picture featured with this story is not a picture of my actual sandwich because I basically inhaled it before I remembered to take a picture!

If you haven't tried the McRib, you should get yourself one before they are gone for this year. If you really enjoy sweet, tangy barbecue sauce, then do what I do, and ask the server for extra, extra barbecue sauce.
