Missing Opelousas Man Found Safe in Arkansas

Members of one Opelousas family are breathing a sigh of relief this morning. This after getting good news yesterday that a missing member of their family had been safely located in Arkansas.

On Sunday family members contacted Opelousas police about their concerns for 71-year-old Paul Jones. Family members reported that they had last seen Jones, who may suffer from dementia, on Sunday morning and had not heard from him throughout the day.

On Monday came good news from authorities in Arkansas that Jones had been found and he was safe. Arkansas authorities transferred Jones to a hospital for observation and treatment. Jones was thought to be in good condition and family members were on their way to be reunited with him.
