Mother Of Two-Year-Old Arrested Charged With Second Degree Murder

There are new developments regrading the death of a two-year-old child, whose body was found in rural Mississippi, as her mother has been arrested. The child's mother's boyfriend has already been arrested and charged with disposing of the body after it was concluded that the little girl was killed and then hidden.

More reports confirm that Phillip Gardner, the mother's boyfriend, has also been charged with second-degree murder.

A video posted by WBRZ Channel 2 News shows the mother of Nevaeh Allen being arrested just before authorities were set to release new information on the case.

According to the post, Lanaya Cardwell was taken to a Baton Rouge police precinct this afternoon with charges pending.
