The 90s will always be known as one of the zaniest decades, and the one time the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were on Oprah is a prime example of why.

Before Oprah made it big and had Tom Cruise stomping out her couch like Dave Chappelle, and before she scored sit down tell-all interviews from the biggest celebrities on her OWN (get it?) channel—she gave an entire episode of her show to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Make no mistake, this wasn't just a segment, but the ENTIRE show.

Don't get me wrong, the Ninja Turtles were HUGE back then, and as a contributor to the mania I vividly remember the hype behind these four turtles. Thanks to our friends over at Comics Alliance we have 45 minutes of greatness to reminisce on just one of the many crazy things we did back in the 90s.

The best part about the video are the kids in the audience who are literally dumbfounded to be in the presence of the turtles. These are pre-internet aged kids who couldn't care less about the musical tour the turtles were promoting, but rather why they weren't doing karate or wielding their signature weapons.

The clip is a bit long, but feel free to scan through—it's all awesome.

Especially the part when Shredder comes out.
