A local Lafayette business is sending some serious support to the search for the missing Seacor crew members.

Nutrition Krewe is located on Kaliste Saloom in a shopping center near Comeaux High School. From April 20 through April 22 the store owners announced that they would be donating 100% of their profits to the United Cajun Navy for costs associated with the search and recovery efforts related to the missing Seacor crew members.

At least one of the missing crew members was a regular customer at Nutrition Krewe but the owners told KATC that their hearts broke for all the families involved in the Seacor disaster.

We are heartbroken for the families of the missing men and are truly humbled that our community has embraced helping the United Cajun Navy locate our boys and bring them home. We sincerely appreciate everyone from Acadiana and also those from outside the area who showed up to contribute to our fundraiser last week.

In addition to their profits from their teas and shakes, Nutrition Krewe collected additional customer donations and even gave up their tips and gratuities to assist in search efforts.

Based on photos that they shared from customers there was a line out of the door for the majority of the 3-day fundraiser as customers stopped by to do their part to help.

In total, Nutrition Krewe sent over $10,200 to the United Cajun Navy as their search efforts continue.
