One Of Louisiana’s Favorite Fast Food Flavors Is Now Available As Ice Cream
Taco Bell's across Louisiana have been celebrating the 'Bajaversary' of the cult classic, Baja Blast soda from Mountain Dew.
Yes, we said 'Bajaversary', Taco Bell takes this very seriously and kicked off the festivities in July by giving away Mtn Dew Baja Blast fountain drinks and freezes. Following that, in August, the fast food chain decided to join in on the Stanley Cup hype and join forces to create a limited-edition Stanley x Bajaversary tumbler that was available in the app.
That's not even the best part. The first 20 customers who purchased one of the Stanley Cups received a $200 gift card, which is equivalent to free Baja Blasts for a year.
Mtn Dew Baja Blast Gelato Hits Menus In Louisiana
But that's not all. Taco Bell just released Mtn Dew Baja Blast Gelato in Louisiana and nationwide. The only catch is that customers will need to become Taco Bell Rewards Members and order using the mobile app.
Taco Bell seems to just be getting started because they also teased a Mtn Dew Baja Blast Pie, which we most certainly did not see coming.
$1 Happy Hour
Taco Bell is really aiming to get on its customers' good side with a $1 Happy Hour that runs from 2 pm until 5 pm every day. Customers can take advantage of $1 medium drinks and freezes, plus free refills when they dine in, of course.
You may be wondering who asked for Baja Bast flavored ice cream, and Taco Bell fans are to blame or thank, according to JP Bittencourt, the Vice President of Marketing at Mountain Dew.
We’re constantly inspired by our fans and feed off their energy, which drives our urge to deliver breakthrough innovations and exclusive offerings to thank those who have supported us – whether it’s our diehard fans from day one to new consumers who continue to join our fandom each and every day.
