Rock ‘N’ Bowl and Vitalant Hosting Community Blood Drive Saturday

Rock ‘N’ Bowl is hosting a community blood drive in conjunction with the non-profit, Vitalant. The Parking Lot Community Blood Drive will be Saturday, February 27th from 4 PM to 7 PM.  If  you donate blood, you’ll receive a free shoe rental on bowling shoes (if lanes are available) and free appetizer with purchase of an entrée at Ye Olde College Inn Steak  & Bank Bar.

The winter weather has impacted blood supply tremendously. Reduced hours, center closures, blood drive cancellations and rescheduled appointments have all led to the decrease in the blood supply. Not to mention, the blood supply was already low due to COVID-19.  Vitalant locations across Louisiana are asking donors who can safely travel to a donation center to schedule an appointment to donate blood as soon as possible. The Rock N Bowl event would be a fun way to donate.
