The Royal Baby Finally Has a Name
Attention, peasants of earth: Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby hath now been blessed with a name of tradition and bore: George Alexander Louis.
So we definitely lost in the betting pool with our Prince George Michael guess. On the plus side, we no longer have to call him the Royal Baby.
The news was confirmed on Twitter (which is apparently up to royal snuff these days):
This comes hot on the heels of the infant being revealed to the world yesterday (although without the pomp and circumstance some felt he deserved).
When the kid finally sits on the throne (and the way Queen Elizabeth is hanging around, we'll probably all be dead by then), he will be the seventh George to do so -- the last being George VI, his great-great-grandfather. Aka the Queen's dad. Aka that guy Colin Firth won an Oscar for playing in 'The King's Speech.'
