Sand Bags Available In Lafayette Parish

With more rain in the forecast later this week, officials in Lafayette Parish are offering citizens within the parish the opportunity to get sand bags. 

Some areas in Acadiana have already received several inches of rainfall this week and those in low-lying areas may be prone to more flooding by the end of the week.

Sandbags will be available throughout the week in Lafayette Parish during daytime hours at two separate locations.

Residents in Lafayette Parish can get sand bags at the compost facility at 400 North Dugas Rd. or go to 1017 Fortune Road in Youngsville.
