Shocker! Nancy Grace Fakes Split Screen Interview

Presumably, Nancy Grace has some fans. The prosecutor turned talking head pundit has been hosting high profile shows for almost 20 years, after all.

But, for the most part, she's somebody everybody loves to hate. And Grace certainly gave the public another reason to ridicule her during a segment she did with Ashleigh Banfield.

It was during CNN's coverage of the Cleveland kidnappings which have been dominating the news this week. It seems that Banfield and Grace are discussing the case from different locations, as they appear on a split screen.

But a careful examination of the background behind each shot reveals that they are reporting from the same parking lot. At one point during their discussion the very same truck passes behind each of them.

A simple explanation for this seemingly deceptive tactic is that since Grace works for HLN and Banfield the CNN mothership they had each brought their own crews and were just merging the shots. Nevertheless, it makes for some bizarre TV. Check out some GIFs of the snafu below and see if you can spot the similarities.
