Student Expelled For F-Bomb Tweet
Get ready because if you didn't know, nothing online is private. If you have a Facebook or Twitter account then this isn't anything new to you. Apparently one student from Garrett High School in Indiana didn't know this valuable piece of information and he had to learn the hard way. After dropping a MASSIVE F-Bomb tweet, Austin Carroll, brought a new meaning to the phrase, 'Go hard or go home.'His tweet on the social media network may have been posted at 2:30 a.m., but that doesn't mean that his school wasn't watching. If your wondering how the school found out about his tweet, tecca decided to spill the beans,
Garrett High School's computer system actively tracks the social media presence of its students. Because the student logged on to his account during school hours, the system was able to find and report the foul-mouthed tweet, leading to the expulsion."
There has always been a big debate about professional and personal social media pages and Austin believes the school was a little out of line,
If my account is on my own personal account, I don't think the school or anybody should be looking at it. Because it's my own personal stuff and it's none of their business."
