Someone pass me a bottle of bubbly!

According to a study done by scientists at the University of Reading drinking one to three glasses of champagne a day may boost memory and even prevent dementia. The 2013 study has found that "the phenolic compounds found in champagne can improve spatial memory, which is responsible for recording information about one's environment, and storing the information for future navigation."

Now, I don't know about all of that scientific stuff, but I do know that now it's acceptable for me to drink champagne with my breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was saving my champagne consumption for my mimosa's during Sunday brunch, but now that I know it's good for my brain I will be stepping up my champagne game.

For all of the fun science behind the study check out everything you need to know on the University of Reading website.

Cheers!
