Waitr has announced they are offering free grocery delivery to help Lafayette area residents in need of help prepping for Hurricane Delta.

The curfew is in effect beginning Thursday, October 8 from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. and Friday, October 9 from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Saints head coach Sean Payton has a contingency plan in place as Hurricane Delta continues to surge through the gulf.

Even though we still aren't 100% sure where Delta is going just yet, Acadiana should expect to be affected.

The storm did not intensify overnight but is still expected to be a major hurricane on Louisiana's coast sometime late Friday.

Sources say there are ongoing discussions about potentially moving LSU's game vs. Mizzou due to the potential threat from Hurricane Delta.

As we all prepare for what's ahead, there are a couple of things we need to take care of that aren't normally on our check lists.

Hurricane Delta is now a category 2 storm, it could strengthen to category 4 status as it crosses into the Gulf of Mexico.

Many games have been shifted from Friday night to Thursday night to get them in ahead of any inclement weather.
