Several media outlets are reporting that Colorado movie theater shooter James Holmes is prepared to enter a guilty plea in the killings of 12 people in exchange for life in prison instead of facing the death penalty.
James Holmes, the former neuroscience graduate student suspected of killing 12 people and wounding dozens more during a July 20 shooting rampage at a movie theater in Aurora, CO, has been formally charged with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder.
FoxNews is reporting that the man accused of killing 12 people and injuring more that 50 in the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting may have sent his plan of action to a psychiatrist. The reports says James Holmes mailed a notebook "full of details about how he was going to kill people" to a University of Colorado psychiatrist before the attack.
