If you're just now emerging from a deep slumber and have no idea what's going on in the world, here's an FYI: one of the greatest weeks of the year is upon us. (Cue the 'Jaws' theme song.) Happy Shark Week, shark fans!

There's nothing quite like a refreshing dip in the ocean to cool off during the hot summer months.

Who needs enemies when you've got friends like these! Remember that saying? This video is a perfect example of when its time to get new friends. Your "friends" are supposed to "have your back", not push you in the back - especially into shark infested waters.

Do you remember as a kid when your Mother would say: "Don't tap the glass on the fish tank," then the follow up: "Would YOU like it if some one tapped on your house?" Well this is why you should always listen to Mommy, lol.

I'm not exactly sure why people made a drinking game for shark week, but if it makes for a fun night (or week) out with the friends, I say go for it!  The only downside is that you will probably have a pretty bad headache in the morning.  There is only two rules for shark week though: You have to pay attention - and you MUST be ready to put a few beverages down the pipe.

Having just come back from the beach, the one thing that is always in the back of my mind while in the gulf and/or ocean is, sharks!!! You can't help but think about the possibility of a shark watching you from under water, and just thinking if you/me will be it's next meal.
