The good folks at Covenant United Methodist Church are at it again -- helping more residents devastated by Hurricanes Laura and Delta.

Three distribution sites will be opening today in Acadia Parish to help those affected by Hurricane Delta. The sites will be handing out water, ice, MREs and other supplies.

"Please don't forget about us! There is still so much to do and we are low on supplies"

Things they are in need of are toilet paper, hand soap, hygiene products, Clorox wipes, canned goods, and shelf-stable food.

One of the first schools to do a supply drive after the flood last week in south Louisiana was the University of South Alabama and on Monday they delivered what they collected.

If you are making last minute preparations for Hurricane Isaac, we want you to know that there are still supplies available in stores around Lafayette and surrounding areas. We have confirmed that some stores still have gas tanks, generators, batteries, water, and other supplies.
