Here’s the dilemma: You notice that a particularly icy stretch of a public stairway is taking down just about every other pedestrian who tries to traverse it. Do you, A), post a sign warning said pedestrians of the impending danger? Or, B), find a good vantage point and record all of the slipping and sliding? Based on the video below, one pedestrian obviously selected “B.”

Of course we have heard people say that we are overreacting about icy conditions in Louisiana, but check out the Weather Channel's Jim Cantore in Chicago covering the ongoing blizzards up there. He then goes completely APE over "thundersnow" ...

Well, it's pretty simple. We aren't used to it. Down south we rarely see temperatures like this. (which is why you're SOOOOOO cold today) And since we don't see temperatures like this too often, we also don't exactly know how to act in it ... or drive in it.
