Taylor Swift Loves the ‘Miracle’ Pop Up Just as Much as Lafayette

Pamplona in downtown Lafayette, Louisiana is one of the three restaurants in the state that participate in the 'Miracle' pop-up at Christmas time. It transforms into what I would imagine the inside of Santa's mancave looks like. Everything down to the glassware the holiday cocktails are served in are spilling over with Christmas cheer.

For the longest time, I thought this was exclusive to Pamplona but when I saw a photo of our Person of the Year, Taylor Swift, sipping on a Christmapolitian, yes, I zoomed in on the photo to verify, my heart skipped a beat.

So what you're telling me is I can go to the SAME 'Miracle' pop-up as Taylor?!

Turns out, T-Swift was in New York at essentially the same Christmas-themed 'Miracle' pop-up as the one Pamplona here in Lafayette has become notorious for every year at this time. The week of Thanksgiving reservations become available for the whole season and they sell out within minutes.

Typically I prefer to eat dinner around 6 or 7 but when there was only one reservation left for 9 pm I jumped at the opportunity. It would have been a hard pass if Pamplona didn't go all out for their Christmas pop-up.

Most people don't know that the 'Miracle' pop-up isn't just an opportunity to drink a holiday cocktail out of a Santa Mug, it's raising money for a good cause too.

During this year's festive season, Miracle is excited to collaborate with the Seva Foundation, an international nonprofit dedicated to eye care initiatives, aiding communities globally by establishing sustainable programs to protect and recover vision. As part of their partnership, Miracle will contribute ten percent of the profits garnered from selling specialized mugs such as the Santa Pants, Christmas Carol Barrel, and Santa’s Head towards Seva's commendable cause.
