Miss Louisiana USA 2017 Is Lake Charles Native Bethany Trahan

The new Miss Louisiana USA 2017 crowned last Saturday is none other than Lake Charles' own Bethany Trahan!

There must be something in the water in Lake Charles, because they are home to the last two Miss Louisiana winners. Bethany was crowned by the previous Miss Louisiana and Lake Charles native, Maaliyah Papillion, last Saturday night.

Bethany will represent the Bayou State in the Miss USA pageant later this year.
