This Peeps Wreath Is The Ultimate Easter Decoration
What's better than eating Peeps? Not eating Peeps, that's what.
But that doesn't mean you have to let them go to waste. Instead of throwing those cute little sugar coated chicks to the curb, try getting crafty and making this fun Easter wreath! I mean, what screams "Happy Easter" more than dozens of Peeps hanging on your door?
Making a Peeps wreath is actually really easy to do and it's a great way to get the entire family involved in Easter arts and crafts time. Here's what you'll need:
- About 5 packs of Peeps
- A 10" styrofoam wreath
- Toothpicks
- Any other decorations you want (ribbons, flowers, etc.)
If you Google "Peeps Wreath" you'll find a ton of different tutorials or you can check out these step-by-step instructions from the Tried and True blog and get your Easter on ASAP.
Oh, and if you're thinking about how disgusting the Peeps will get after a few days hanging on the door, no worries. Those little marshmallow puffs actually harden up and get stale after a few days and will even stay perfectly intact until next Easter if you wrap up the wreath and store it in your garage. That's a little gross when you think about the fact that you eat those things, but it's great for this project!

**Louisiana Tip: Peeps come in yellow, green and purple, so if you go with that color scheme your Easter Peeps wreath can double as a sweet Mardi Gras wreath too!**
