Two people are in the hospital and a third is recovering at home following an overnight shooting in Opelousas.

Police say it happened around 12:45 a.m. on Pulford Street near Washington Street and Railroad Avenue.

According to investigators, three people were wounded in that shooting. Two were take to area hospitals. The extent of their injuries is unknown. The third victim was shot in the wrist and refused treatment.
