Thunderstorms Drop Lots of Rain, Causes Flooding In Area
Thunderstorms are moving through Acadiana today and we have received several photos of flooding in and around Lafayette.
Remember, if you can't see the road, its NEVER safe to drive through flooded areas.
The forecast has called for 1-3 inches of rain in the area and by the looks of it we have exceeded those predictions.
We will continue to monitor the flooding in the area. Please continue to check our social media pages for further updates.
Reminder, if you don't need to be on the roads today, please stay home and avoid flooded roadways throughout Acadiana.
