If you're over the age of 16 and you are caught trick-or-treating in this town, you could be facing a fine.

Teenagers that are 16 and older in Bathurst, New Brunswick have been banned from going door to door this Halloween. A proposed law will not only stop these teens from trick-or-treating, but will prohibit anyone with a "facial disguise" (aka Halloween mask/costume) from trick-or-treating after 8 p.m.

Anyone caught breaking either one of these laws can be fined up to $200.

So how do they plan to enforce this rule? Well, according to a city spokesperson, they won't. They just hope by the law being on the books, it will cut down on "mischief" during Halloween trick-or-treating.

TODAY put up a poll asking their followers if there should be a ban on the age of trick-or-treaters and the majority agreed that there should be some sort of limit.

Mixed reactions online were everything you would expect.

So what do you think? Should there be an age limit? If so, what age should it be?
