Travis Scott has officially tapped in for Childish Gambino. Earlier today (Oct. 25), the Twitter account for the 2018 Voodoo Festival announced that the Astroworld artist was taking Gambino's place as a performer at the 2018 Voodoo Festival after the rapper-actor broke his foot last month.

"Travis Scott is bringing ASTROWORLD to New Orleans & headlining #VoodooFest on Saturday, 10/27," the tweet reads. "Under doctor's orders Childish Gambino has been advised to continue recovery on his recent tour injury and will be forced to cancel his upcoming performance at the fest this weekend."

If you recall, Gambino broke his foot during a Dallas, Texas stop of his This Is America Tour last month. Because of the injury, Gambino postponed the tour just a few days later. Now, we know the injury will also cause Gambino to miss this year's Voodoo Festival, which is set to begin tomorrow and end this Sunday.

Riding the wave of his platinum-selling Astroworld album, Scott is a great get for the organizers of the 2018 Voodoo Festival. Laced with cosmic beats and Scott's Auto-Tune-laced vocals, the project definitely slaps, and now, Voodoo Festival attendees will get the chance to see him live.

While Scott is the biggest rap act, other talented hip-hop artists like 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign and Smino are also set to take the stage. Check out the full lineup below.
