You hear it from Acadiana all the way to Baton Rouge, LA. For some odd reason, people have always felt as if they had to "choose" between supporting the UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns or supporting the LSU Tigers. Now, allow me to say that some folks don't see any reason why they can't support both (see: House Divided license plates) but the majority of people that I have come across bleed only crimson red, or purple and gold.

Both the Cajuns and the Tigers are having GREAT seasons this year, with the Tigers being ranked #1 in the country and a shoe in for the National Championship Title and the Cajuns having their best team peformance in decades and headed to their first bowl game ever under new head coach Mark Hudspeth.

With both teams doing so well, the ancient "UL vs. LSU" argument is as heated as ever, especially with platforms like Facebook and other forms of social media where everyone has a voice. But that isn't always a bad thing, because just yesterday a well known LSU player from right here in Lafayette, LA made a comment on our Facebook page that really spoke volumes and should let everyone know once and for all that,

IT'S OK TO LIKE, LOVE and SUPPORT BOTH LSU and UL !!!
