Warning: Cell Phone Scam

If you have a missed call from a number that you don't recognize, you may want to think twice before you call the number back. 

There is a scam going around called the "one-ring scam."

These calls and scams usually come from outside the United States and have the following area codes 268, 809, 876, 284, and 473.

The Better Business Bureau is recommending that if you receive a call from a number that you don't recognize ignore the incoming or missed call. The BBB is also encouraging everyone to pay close attention to your cell phone bill and if you feel inclined to call a number back search it on the Internet first.
