There have been hoards of celebrities who have been very vocal about protesting President Trump's "Muslim ban," which went into effect on Saturday morning and caused worldwide chaos. From Rihanna to John Legend and most of the actors of last night's SAG Awards, celebrities have, for the most part, voiced their extreme displeasure and Dave Chappelle is no exception.

While speaking at a protest in Dayton, Ohio, the comedian got in a few laughs, despite the seriousness of the situation that drove him to participate in the rally.

"Donald Trump, wherever you are, I am begging you! Stop ruining my Sundays," Chappelle jokingly began. “We are all here because what you [Trump] are doing does not seem right. As a matter of fact, it sucks. I support refugees, I support immigrants, and I love my friends and neighbors. Thank you.”

Chappelle converted to Islam in the 90s but The Fader reports that in an interview with Time, said he typically prefers to keep his beliefs to himself.

"I don't normally talk about my religion publicly because I don't want people to associate me and my flaws with this beautiful thing," said Chappelle. "And I believe it is beautiful if you learn it the right way."
