Wednesday Is the Best Night of the Week to Get Lucky At a Bar: Study

If you're on the prowl for a one-night stand, you should head to your local drinking establishment on a Wednesday.

A study using member profile information from the dating website OK Cupid was able to conclude that Wednesday is the night of the week in which patrons at a bar are most likely to be open to a commitment-less sexual experience with somebody they just met.

Statistician Nate Silver, who worked with OK Cupid on the study, followed up by asking bartenders if the study's findings jibe with their observations.

Some of the bartenders Silver spoke with did confirm that it is weeknights like Wednesday - not weekends - in which the most quick (and seemingly fleeting) love connections are made.
