Sure, he’s hard at work promoting his new single with Mick Jagger and Jennifer Lopez, but will.i.am has never been satisfied doing only one thing — so he’s just added another job to his ever-growing stack of duties as a 21st century pop culture kingpin.

This time, the busiest Black Eyed Pea is headed for U.K. TV screens, where he’ll serve as a coach for the overseas version of NBC’s hit singing contest series ‘The Voice.’

The show’s coaches are still being rounded up, but Jessie J has already been announced as one of will’s fellow coaches for the show’s spring run. As the Hollywood Reporter notes, will’s selection has prompted speculation that Cheryl Cole could also appear on the show, either as a guest or a coach, but that’s just a rumor for now.

“I’m proud to be doing The Voice U.K. because the U.K. was the first place I saw success,” will said in a statement. “It’s the place I’m the most creative outside of home.”

In the meantime, will’s new single ‘T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)’ has already broken the Top 40 a week before it officially ships to mainstream radio stations.
