Townsquare Media 2014 Radiothon Raises $116,982 For The Kids At St. Jude
For two days (Jan 23-24) our Townsquare Media radio stations dedicated their airwaves to finding Partners in Hope to raise money for the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with the annual St. Jude Radiothon. We’re proud to say that the 2014 Radiothon helped to raise an amazing $116,982.
Even through some of the worst weather and road conditions on Day 2 of the Radiothon, South Louisiana still found a way to give and join our mission to stomp out childhood cancer and find a cure once, and for all.
We’re also proud to say that this year, Townsquare’s 97.3 The Dawg was recognized one of the original St. Jude stations as St. Jude celebrated the 25th anniversary of their partnership with radio to raise funds for the hospital.
Without our sponsors, this annual Radiothon simply wouldn’t be possible to pull off. Special thanks goes out to:

The ladies at ESA did a stellar job, taking hundreds of calls in our phone bank as our St. Jude representatives were working hand in hand with us to provide the resources necessary to pull of a Radiothon of this caliber, every single step of the way.
A special thanks to former UL Ragin’ Cajuns/NFL quarterback Jake Delhomme and Ray Boudreaux from this past season of ‘The Voice’ for stopping by to answer calls and spread the St. Jude message.
Also, it would be impossible to paint the true picture of St. Jude without the help of our St. Jude patient families, who came through to share their amazing St. Jude stories and experiences.
To say “thank you” wouldn’t be enough, as year, after year, Acadiana steps up to the plate in a major way by opening up their hearts – as well as their purses and wallets – to give hope to the kids and families at St. Jude.
Even though our St. Jude Radiothon is only two days out of the year, but you can always become a Partner in Hope HERE year round.
From the bottom of our hearts, God bless you South Louisiana for your continued support in our fight against childhood cancer and other life threatening diseases.
Until next year…
