A Possible Shallow Grave Site May Have Been Located In St. Landry Parish

We are receiving word from KATC-TV 3 that a possible shallow grave site has been located in St. Landry Parish. The reports coming out indicate that the grave site may be located on the grounds of a church in the Swords area. This is within the vicinity of the home of Brandon Scott Lavergne.

St. Landry Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says that his office received a tip of a possible grave on St. Ann's property. He said that it appears to be a gravesite, but investigators are not certain. Guidroz says Lafayette police investigators and search dogs have joined St. Landry sheriff's deputies in the search.
