The new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the hottest gadgets on the market right now and apparently two kids thought it would be funny to go into Apple Stores to bend them.

The boys names are Danny and Kylie, and they thought it would make for good comedy to damage phones that they had no plans on purchasing. Not only did they film the entire thing and upload the video to YouTube, but they called each other by their real names the entire time they were recording.

Of course they instantly yanked the video from the web as soon as they realized their boneheaded mistake, but as you know the internet is forever and by that time it was already too late.

They boys aren't the only ones participating in 'Bendgate.' Adults are also damaging thousands of iPhone 6 phones to prove that they bend.

Apple has publicly commented on the matter saying,

With normal use a bend in iPhone is extremely rare and through our first six days of sale, a total of nine customers have contacted Apple with a bent iPhone 6 Plus.

As Gizmodo points out—purposely bending iPhones makes just about as much sense as walking into your local electronics retailer and smashing televisions with a baseball bat just to see if the screens will break. It doesn't mean the televisions need to be built any better, it just means that you're a jerk.

It also means that you're a criminal for damaging property that you don't own.

Don't be a jerk—and if you can't help being a jerk, at least have enough sense not to put it on the internet.
