She may only be days old, but little Blue Ivy Carter — the princess born to Beyonce and Jay-Z — is already a diva in training! The little tot is rumored to have a luxurious $3,500 NurseryWorks Vetro Lucite crib that Bey’s mother purchased at a high-end New York City boutique prior to her birth over the weekend.

But what would you really expect the already famous baby to lay her precious head on, seeing how the baby’s nursery is said to be approximately 2,200 square feet nestled inside their couple’s posh apartment in the Tribeca area of New York City.

Sources tell Us Weekly that Beyonce was in the company of her sister, Solange Knowles, and their mother, Tina, who purchased the bed for her grand-baby back in November. Bey obviously couldn’t settle for just an average mattress to fit the crib, so she sprung for the custom-fit pad and all the additional accessories that came with it from NurseryWorks.

Blue Ivy made her grand entrance into the world on Saturday, Jan. 7, weighing 7lbs. She is the first child for the singer and rap artist, following a miscarriage that occurred prior to her birth.

For a baby who has only been in this world for a few days, she has already created quite the stir online, as well as at the hospital where she was born in the Big Apple. To protect the privacy of themselves and their child, the superstar couple blocked out an entire wing of the hospital, which left some other expectant mothers none too pleased.

Regardless, little Blue Ivy … We are glad you are here safe and sound. Now we can spend the next several weeks anticipating a first glimpse of the little superstar-in-the-making!
