If you thought that people fighting over cell phones or passing out in ridiculous crowds on Black Friday wasn't crazy enough, allow me to introduce you to the man who scored a great deal on a new TV, then left a toddler behind.

Anthony Perry had some explaining to do after he showed up at home with a brand new 51-inch flat screen TV, but no sign of his girlfriend's 2-year-old son. Thankfully, police were alerted by Kmart store security after they found the boy asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot around 1:30 a.m. on Black Friday.

Police forced their way into the car and immediately took the boy to the hospital as a precaution. In the meantime, they tracked down the man who left the kid behind.

According to WWLP, 34-year-old Anthony Perry was babysitting for his girlfriend who was working at the time. Perry told police he lost the boy while shopping, panicked, then called someone for a ride. He did not alert authorities about the missing boy, and Springfield police are still trying to determine how he was able to get the TV to his home without the car he originally drove to the store.

Perry was not arrested and not immediately charged, but police are expected to charge  him with reckless endangerment to a child.
