Boosie BadAzz had a lot of momentum when he got out of prison in 2014. Some of that has slowed down as the casual listeners faded away. But the Baton Rouge rapper's diehard fans are as loyal as ever.

With a dedicated fan base like that, Boosie can use his platform to drop some knowledge. The Atlantic rapper does just that with his song "Truth" and its accompanying video. This music video is just a small part of the puzzle as Boosie looks to dominate the year.

“2016 I’m dropping damn near every month. I got another project getting ready to drop in March called Thug Talk, another classic,” Boosie told XXL. “Me and Atlantic [Records] are going to drop the big nationwide album, Boosie BadAzz: Bigger and Badder Than Ever. We going to probably drop that in June and get a promo running. Every month I’m dropping, I’m just going in. I’m dropping four, five, six videos a month. It’s my time."

Boosie stated that his bout with cancer has inspired him to go full throttle in the rap game. Everything is on track now for Boosie to make a big impact.

"That cancer shit scared me so I’m just going to punish the game,” he said. “I don’t give a fuck who droppin’, I’m droppin’. Can you drop fire like me? I’m just going to keep on giving fans what they want. I could have been doing this. A lot of times I was waiting on the label or certain situations or things like that. But me and the label on the same page, everything is positive right now, I’m just going to keep on dropping. It’s my year. 2016 is my year, I’m just going to keep on dropping and show people my greatness."
