Bow Wow is continuing to catch flack on social media after he posted a video of himself being chased by fans near his tour bus. The viral footage led to the Internet speculating whether he hired paid actors to chase him for a part two of the #BowWowChallenge, but the rapper assures that that wasn't the case.

Speaking with TMZ, the actor and MC clarifies what he claims happened, leading to the mob of fans to chase him down outside of the venue.

"Our tour buses was parked like not really where they was supposed to be and I just remember being at the top of the loading dock with Jermaine, and Jermaine is like 'Yo, you cannot go out there.' I'm like, 'Look, I'm not about to stand in the loading dock all day. We gotta get to the bus.' So I told him that I'm gonna try to run around the crowd. And he's like, 'Good luck,'" Bow Wow explains.

He then describes the moments leading up to the crowd chasing him, claiming that they were real fans who spotted him and chased him down to his tour bus.

"I had to gradually walk through the crowd first. It was smooth until one grabbed my shirt, and I said, okay, I might as well make a dash because there was a whole other gate that was in front of us that you guys never see that was full of kids. So, when I started running, I look back. One started running, two, then three, then eight, then 12, then 20. Then it was like, alright we gotta go," the rapper continues.

TMZ also asked Bow Wow about his original #BowWowChallenge, where the rapper posted a photo of a private jet to Instagram before a Twitter user exposed him for being on the same commercial flight as them, proving he wasn't on the jet. Bow claims that he was posting the photo as a "mood" photo, like many other rappers tend to do, rather than as a photo of what he was claiming to be doing.

"I was kind of laughing with it because I've never said I was on that specific plane, I said 'New York bound,'" the actor explains.
