More sad news for Casey Kasem and his family: The legendary radio DJ is in critical condition in a Washington state hospital, a hospital spokesperson said (via ABC News). The 82-year-old is reportedly being treated for an infected bedsore after checking into the facility last Sunday.

Kasem suffers from Parkinson's Disease and is barely able to speak. Last month (May 6), he went missing from his nursing home. However, he was found a few days later.

Recently, the family's battle over Kasem's medical care has gone public. Following his disappearance, Kasem's daughter Kerri has been granted conservatorship over her father. ABC News reports that in a statement last Friday (June 6), a spokesperson for Kerri said, "Kerri’s spokesman said her father’s health is declining and he “won’t be with us much longer."

According to NBC News, a judge is expected to rule today on a request to move Kasem back to Los Angeles.
