Chris Brown Released From Jail, Tweets Message to Fans
Chris Brown has been released from jail, L.A. Sheriff Deputy Tony Moore announced today (via Fox News.) The troubled singer, who turned 25 last month, was released just after midnight on Monday, June 2, after being locked up since the middle of March.
Several hours after his release, Brown took to Twitter to share his appreciation in three short messages, almost all of which soon became trending topics:
Humbled and Blessed

Brown was sentenced to jail in mid-March after he was kicked out of a rehab facility for violating its “internal rules,” which violated his probation in the Rihanna case. On May 9 — just 4 days after his 25th birthday — he was sentenced to a year in jail and received a sentence of an additional 131 days after he admitted to violating his probation after being involved in an altercation with a man in Washington, D.C. (That trial will begin in the next few months.)
But despite the looming sentence ahead, the judge credited Brown with the 116 days he served in rehab and an additional 59 that he already spent in jail, as well as good behavior. He was released early this morning having served 108 days of his additional 131-day sentence.
Brown, who released a message to his fans while in jail via a voicemail to his on-and-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran, is still expected to complete his 1,000 hours of community labor, Fox News reports.
