Chris Rock BET Awards Opening Monologue Reminds Us That He’s Still Very Funny [VIDEO]

Chris Rock hasn't done standup in quite some time, but he reminded us all that he is still a hilarious dude with his opening monologue at the 2014 BET Awards.

Rock hosted the annual awards show—or as he called it, "The Black World Cup"—with some of music and Hollywood's biggest stars, and no one was off limits. He went after everyone from Rick Ross to Oprah in his signature standup style, and reminded us why we fell in love with his comedy in the first place.

With everything going on the world today, we could definitely use a new Chris Rock comedy special, no matter how bad you though he was in 'Grown Ups.'

One thing is for sure, he's still got it.
