The verbal tit-for-tat between Drake and Jay Z appears to be not over just yet. Drizzy couldn’t resist poking fun at Hov during the NBA playoff game between the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets on Saturday (April 19).

Drake, who is the Raptors’ "Global Ambassador," joined TSN broadcast of Game One and threw a zinger at Jay Z, who used to be the minority owner of the Nets.

"Jay Z is somewhere eating a fondue plate," he quipped. "It’s our time. We’ve got to keep it competitive. This is an ironic match-up."

Granted, Drake’s remark isn’t as witty as his line on 'Draft Day,' where he threw a couple of swipes at Hov.

"Just hits, no misses / That’s for the married folks," can only be aimed at one happily-married rhymer, but we digress.

Ironically, Drake’s jab came just a few hours after Raptors General Manager Masai Ujiri aimed a direct shot at the Nets.

According to Sports Illustrated, before Game one started, Ujiri yelled "F--- Brooklyn" as he addressed thousands of fans gathered outside the Air Canada Centre. He later apologized.

Talk about worst behavior.

Oh, by the way, the Nets beat the Raptors 94-87 and are up 1-0 in the playoff series. Game 2 is scheduled for April 22.
