Krewe de Rendezvous Inaugural Cook-Off

The Krewe de Rendezvous Inaugural Cook-Off is set for Saturday, October 17th at Neyland Park in Lafayette from 11am to 3pm. The cook-off...anything over rice!

Entry is $20 per 4 person team. (Payable to 'Krewe de Rendezvous; mail or deliver entry form and payment to 103 Abundance Ct. Lafayette, LA 70506; no cash by mail.)

Entry fee must be paid before set up which begins at 7am. Spaces are first come, first serve and one ice chest is allowed per team.

Sample turn in time for judging will be at Noon sharp. Presentation will be at 1pm. Awards will be given for 1st place and runner up. A people's choice award will also be given.

All teams and cooks are to be self sufficient. The Krewe will provide bowls for sampling. Entries must be prepared and cooked on site the day of the competition. All entries must cook a minimum of 2 gallons.

Admission for the public will be $6. Children 12 and under get in free. Concessions will be sold.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to SJS Awareness Louisiana.
