Waco, TX has a new burger spot in town and the name is an attention-grabber. 'Fat Ho Burgers' is a new burger joint with a line out the door, and if you're wondering, about the name, garden tools have nothing to do with the business.

23yr old owner Lakita Evans worked her way through school and opened the restaurant and explains that the name is humorous in an otherwise troubled world. She describes her restaurants name by saying

“It’s not calling people a ho. It’s just like they say, 'Oooh that ho is big,' or, 'That ho is tight!’

While there is a line out the door and a well received menu, not everyone is happy with the 'Fat Ho' moniker. Just around the corner there is 'Gospel Cafe', a volunteer-run religious cafe and bookstore. When asked about the burger joint Pastor Marsha Martie says

“Would’ve been nice to think a little more sensitively,”

I even had the chance to interview someone who actually went to Fat Ho Burgers and described the experience, and ultimately ... the food. LISTEN !!
