On September 26, the Krewe of Endymion disclosed the star-studded lineup for their 2024 Extravaganza, set to electrify the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans on February 10.

The annual parade and grand spectacle will feature Grammy Award-winning artist Sting and celebrated hip-hop sensation Flo Rida as the headliners. Additional acts will include The Mixed Nuts, Groovy 7, and The Wiseguys, promising an unforgettable evening for attendees.

The 2024 parade, themed "Silents Are Golden," aims to dazzle spectators with iconic floats such as Papa Joe’s SS Endymion, Club Endymion, and the ETV Float. The ETV Float is particularly notable for its enormous LED screen that will broadcast live crowd reactions. The parade’s crown jewel, however, will be the Pontchartrain Beach "Then and Now" float. Setting a new Mardi Gras record, this float stretches over 300 feet and will host 270 riders, making it the longest float ever to grace the event.

This year's Endymion festivities hold a poignant resonance, as they pay homage to the late Ed Muniz. As the founder and longest-serving Captain of the Krewe of Endymion, Muniz’s innovative leadership turned the event into what many regard as the pinnacle of the Mardi Gras season.

Tickets for the highly anticipated Endymion Extravaganza are now on sale. Those interested in securing their spots can reach out to the Endymion office at (504) 736-0160. With an entertainment lineup that merges diverse musical genres and a parade that sets new benchmarks, the 2024 Endymion Extravaganza is positioned to be another unforgettable celebration.
