Family members are asking for your help in locating Freda Stear Garrison, a 57-year-old New Iberia woman who has been missing since yesterday (3/12/13) after she didn't show up for a 1:30 p.m. appointment in Lafayette.

Freda left her home in New Iberia a little after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 but never made it to her appointment in Lafayette scheduled for 1:30 p.m. She is driving a black 2012 Nissan Murano - license plate #WFP498. Look for a New Orleans Saints license plate cover and a Wounded Warrior sticker on the side of her vehicle.

Freda Stear Garrison is 5'5" and weighs 150 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. Her cell phone is OFF and was last pinged on the corner of Hwy 182 and Hwy 92 in Broussard at the St. Martinville exit right off of Hwy 90.

UPDATE (3/13/13 4:39 p.m.): From Katie Garrison Habbit (daughter): The police said her vehicle was seen passing the Chevron on 182 at the turn for ESA which would be right before the last ping and wasn't seen on any of the cameras headed in either direction on 90! So they believe she is still somewhere in the area!!! Keep praying!!! Thank you!!

UPDATE (3/13/13) 7:34 p.m.): From Find Freda Stear Garrison Now Facebook Page: Freda has been found safe but tired. We just want to say thank you to everyone who helped with the search. We asked that you all respect the families privacy at this time.
