'Gillie Da Kid' has responded to back lash he is receiving after video of him saying "All Lives Matter" circulated online. He says that the video is from "4 years ago".

Check out what he had to say in his extremely *NSFW* Instagram post @gillie_da_king

'Gillie Da Kid' is a rapper and podcast host of Million Dollars Worth of Game who has been in the limelight recently after video surfaced of him speaking out against 'Black Lives Matter'.

He starts off his video by stating his support for the 'Black Lives Matter' movement. Gillie also goes into all of the tangible things he has done for his city of Philidelphia, questioning if anyone else has done as much to support the city's underprivileged as he has.

Gillie is firm in his stance saying, "Black lives is gonna matter when it matter to black people". He references all of the violence that has occurred over the past week in cities like Philidelphia and Chicago. He even shows his own gun shot wound on his wrist and says, "I've been shot three times...", saying that it was a black person who shot him.

He reaches a very passionate point in the post (around 2:15) saying, "If black lives are going to matter, LET'S GET OUR S*#@ TOGETHER AND MAKE IT MATTER! Oh but y'all don't wanna talk about that though, huh? Y'all don't wanna be held accountable".

Gillie obviously cares about this topic as he continues to raise his voice. He references how 104 people were shot in Chicago over a 4 day period, but no one was marching for that.

Gillie settles back in and gives proper respect to people who have been victims of injustice like George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

'Gillie da Kid' rounds out his statement by reiterating his point, "If black lives is going to truly matter, it's got to matter with black people. So, how about we do better?".
