Great Dane Eats Forty Three Socks And Survives Surgery [VIDEO]

Does this solve the mystery of the sock thief? Well, only if you have a huge dog! ; )

This Great Dane is only 3-years-old and gets into everything, including the sock drawer.

Can you imagine that conversation? "Where is your other sock?" LOL! The sock fairy must have taken it. I'm sure we've all said that at one time.

According to WWLTV the family noticed the dog trying to vomit and couldn't. This was a cause of concern so they brought the great dane to the vet.

The veterinarian by the name of DoveLewis out of Portland, Ore., decided to take X-rays and saw a stomach full of "large foreign material."

They performed the surgery and counted out 43 1/2 socks total!

The dog was sent home only one day after surgery, and you wouldn't believe socks were still missing. LOL!! So the sock thief almost had us all fooled! : )
