Canada’s Hitchhiking Robot Gets Ripped Apart In The U.S. [PICS]

It's called the 'hitchBOT' and it was set to cross the U.S., that was until he got in the U.S.

He only lasted two weeks into his journey across the U.S. He started off in Boston and made it through New York City. He next and last stop was the city of brotherly love, aka. Philadelphia. There, hitchbot got completely torn apart.

He was supposed to make it from coast to coast but according to hitchBOT's web site he will be back again,

"We know that many of hitchBOT’s fans will be disappointed, but we want them to be assured that this great experiment is not over. For now we will focus on the question “what can be learned from this?” and explore future adventures for robots and humans."
