Hot 107-9 Hosts UL’s ‘Yell Like Hell’ Pep Rally During Homecoming Week

We would like to thank UL for inviting us, Hot 107-9, to be the host of their annual homecoming pep rally this past Thursday night. The pep rally was held in downtown Lafayette's Parc International. Like any other pep rally, this event featured the sounds of "The Pride Of Acadiana" marching band, UL Cheerleaders, The Ragin Jazz  Dance Team, and more!!! The 2012 UL homecoming court was presented to the crowd in attendance and they were escorted by senior UL football players.

We have been before many crowds in the past, but all agree that the crowd last night may have been the LOUDEST ever!! The enthusiasm and school spirit we saw last night for "Yell Like Hell" was amazing. To quote our new night guy, Speedy, "This is amazing!!"

Again we would like to thank UL for inviting us to DJ and host this wonderful event, and we cannot wait to take part in the UL homecoming parade Saturday morning at 10am. The Cajuns will take on The Tulane Green Wave Saturday at 4pm at Cajun Field for 2012 Homecoming.

On a side note, we thought it was most entertaining when many of the students in attendance got up on stage and danced to the hit song "Gangnam Style." UL students certainly know how to party and you all know how to have a good time. Geaux UL!!!
